Louis' first fledgling, Claudia's potential mother, a red-headed french doll maker; killed by the vampires of the Theatre des Vampires.

Mael
A vampre made by the God of the Grove, and who captured Marius, giving him the same fate. Paramour of Avicus and Maharet, this 2000 year-old druid priest-turned-vampire was present during Akasha's destruction.

Magnus
Lestat's maker, and an ex-member of Armand's Children of Darkness. He killed himself right after making Lestat.

Maharet
One of the red-haired twins (sister Mekare), this 6000 year-old vampire was a witch in Palestine at the time when Akasha ruled. Akasha's stewart Khayman made her a vampire. He also fathered her only child, Miriam, who was the start of Maharet's Great Family. Her fledglings include Thorne, Eric and Jesse.

Manfred Blackwood
An ancestor of Quinn's who was turned into a vampire by Petronia as well.

Marguerite Mayfair
The 7th Witch. She is Julien and Katherine's mother who started strange experiments in the upper part of the First Street House.

Marie-Claudette Mayfair
The 6th Witch. Grandmother of Julien and mother of Marguerite.

Marius
Marius is a 2000 year-old vampire, and rich Italian nobleman who has for his whole life looked after the Divine Parents. He is the maker of Pandora, Armand, Sybelle and Benji.

Marklin George
The Talamasca novice responsible for Aaron Lightner's murder. He is left to die in a tower of the Talamasca motherhouse in London

Mary
The name David used for a Talamascan friend in Merrick.

Mary Beth Mayfair
The 9th Witch. She is one of the most influencial Mayfairs. She was the greatest witch of the 19th Century. She is both daughter and niece to Julien Mayfair and mother to Stella Mayfair.

Mary Jane Mayfair
The outspoken Mayfair cousin who helps Mona Mayfair with her pregnancy.

Matthew
Merrick's uncle.

Maurice Mayfair
Jeanne Louise Mayfair's son.

The Mayfair Emerald
A large Emerald surrounded by gold filigree on a long chain: a gift to Deborah Mayfair by her husband. Several of the Mayfairs have died wearing it including Deborah herself. It is a requirement of the Designee of the Legacy to wear it at her wedding.

Mayfair Witches
A line of powerful witches, the Talamasca researches them closely.

Mekare
Maharet's sister and the other red-haired twin. This powerful witch-turned-vampire put a curse on Akasha that eventually led to her undoing. She is 6000 years old and has spent her whole life in the jungle somewhere, as far as we know. Khayman made her.

Memnoch
Formerly an archangel of God, he is the keeper of hell basically - Satan.

Merrick Mayfair is a powerful witch, and a member of the Talamasca who worked closely with David Talbot and Aaron Lightner. This brown-haired, green-eyed beauty was made by Louis when she was 35.

Millie Mayfair
A member of the Mayfair family who lives with Carlotta, Belle and Nancy in the First Street House until her death in 1979.

The vampiric gift that allows blood drinkers to read the minds of others.

Miravelle
Morrigan and Ash's daughter. She is seen in Blood Canticle.
